Mr. Collins showed his gratitude

This morning Mr. Collins and I met for breakfast, he thanked me again for coming to Rosings. He told me it had been a pleasure to have me and knows that Charlotte was happy that I came. I assured him that I had fun. for I knew that everyone tried to keep me company during my stay. I can't help but feel bad for Charlotte.. This house is not very close to her family and it is not where she had ever intended to live, but she continues not to complain.
