Darcy made me a very happy woman.

Darcy and I are now engaged. we reevaluated all that has happened since last April and have decided that we are both much changed. I have gotten past my prejudice and now see him as the amiable man I now love. He has learned to over step his pride and judge every one fairly. I could not be happier with the match. I dare say I am the luckiest woman alive.

Another Engagement

My eldest sister is to be married! Oh the happiness it brings me! The joy it has caused me and my family. Jane says she is the happiest woman alive and I dare ay I believe her.
On another note, Lady Catherine visited me today. She told me not to marry Mr. Darcy because of the misfortune I would cause him. I think she was being as insolent as ever and told her that of course, her sentiments mean nothing to me. I had not yet heard of the rumor going aound that Darcy was to propose, but dear I hope it is true.

Jane an Mr. Bingley reconnect

Mr. Bingley has been coming to the house every day. I wonder what is the deal with him. Each day him and Jane seem to grow closer and closer. Today he came over and mother just about died. She made Jane hurry to get ready and look presentable for him. She continues to call me out of the room to let Mr. Bingley and Jane talk. She is scheming, but im starting to think that for once, she could be on to something.

A happiness I never thought I'd reach.

Jane and I are both insesently happy about what has transpired. We now live thirty miles away from eachother because she became tires of liveing so close to mother. She now has a summer home near me so that we can catch up. Kitty comes to visit often. Lydia continues to move often and always asks for money.. foolish girl. Oh well.

A match in the making

Today is Lydia's wedding day! Oh the pain it causes the family to watch her marry with such a man. We all acted happy for her of course. Lydia let slip the details of Mr. Darcy paying off Wickham to marry Lydia. She told me it was a secret, but i must know everything on the matter. Why would Mr. Darcy do that?

Mr Bingley brought a friend.

My mother embarressed me at the dinner this evening. She continues to be rude to Mr Darcy, her ignorance is amazing. If only he could know that I am thankful forwhat he has done. I want to speak to him. I am also confused on the subject. Why would he come all the way out here just to ignore me? I must find a way to engage in conversation.

Again, Mr. Darcy proves my previous affections wrong.

It still amazes me to recount on all of the ill feelings I had towards Mr. Darcy. Today, Mrs. Gardinier told me of the kindness that Mr. Darcy has once again brought my family. Although my parents dont know the details concerning Mr. Darcy's favor, I wll be forever thankful. My feelings for him continue to deepen everyday.

Mr. Gardinier found Lydia and Wickham! Wickham will not marry her with out money.. he says he will not be able to afford it. Go figure. He is such an intolerable man, but if she is so foolish to accept his proposal than she deserves him.
